Tahsin Rahman earned his Ph.D. in ECE from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2025, advised by Sergio Cabrera and Ali Bilgin. He is currently an ORISE Research Fellow in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Division of Imaging Diagnostics and Software Reliability, where he develops regulatory science tools for medical image quality assessment and artifact detection using knowledge-based and machine learning methods.
